As the country pays high attention to and actively supports the development of agricultural and forestry photovoltaics, it actively promotes the integration and development of the photovoltaic industry, modern agriculture and forestry, and rural revitalization, promotes the organic combination of agricultural production and clean power generation, improves the comprehensive utilization efficiency of land, promotes economic income generation in rural areas, and helps achieve the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.

In response to the national call, the photovoltaic industry has been developing rapidly in recent years, and the practical application of various emerging technologies has become increasingly close. Especially in the field of "photovoltaic+", after rapid development in the past few years, more and more mature "photovoltaic+" projects have been implemented, and the integration of photovoltaics and ecology has been gradually realized.

Agri-photovoltaic (APV) refers to a model where trees are planted around or under photovoltaic power plants in the fields of forestry and photovoltaic power generation, or photovoltaic panels are installed above forested land, realizing a mutually beneficial model of forestry and photovoltaic power generation.

Agri-photovoltaic can effectively utilize land resources, improve land utilization efficiency, and also increase the ecological benefits of the land. Trees can play a role in wind protection, soil protection, water conservation, and air purification, while also providing timber, fruits and other resources. Planting trees above photovoltaic power stations can effectively utilize the space above the power stations and improve the power generation efficiency of the stations.

The Yunhe Baoshan 30MWp Agri-photovoltaic Power Generation Project is located in Yunhe County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province. The Lishui Municipal People's Government proposed the implementation opinions on accelerating the large-scale development of distributed photovoltaics as early as 2021, encouraging the construction of photovoltaic facilities in agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry. The land reclamation project in Yunhe County is a project of the local land department to return forestland to farmland.

Highlights of the project:

  • Transforming the relatively good hilltops of Baoshan Village and Pingligang Village into a large-scale terraced photovoltaic power generation base
  • Planting economically valuable medicinal herbs within the photovoltaic power station area, forming a complementary advantage with the power station
  • The planned capacity of the photovoltaic power station is 30MWp, with 12MWp built in the first phase
  • Adopting 110KV voltage level for grid connection
  • The total land area is more than 1,000 acres
  • Total investment of 230 million yuan
  • Average annual power generation of 29.2568 million kWh

Our company has won the third prize of the Hangzhou City Construction Engineering West Lake Cup (Excellent Survey and Design) in this project.

Through Agri-photovoltaic, the dual goals of increasing farmers' income and environmental protection are achieved, while also promoting the development of the photovoltaic industry and forestry.
