Comprehensive Technical Empowerment

The intensive curriculum was designed to provide end-to-end technical empowerment across the entire solar lifecycle. Theoretical instruction covered critical competencies, including PVsyst software proficiency, centralized ground-mounted system design, substation electrical engineering, and microgrid technologies.

To bridge theory with practical application, the Zambian team conducted on-site inspections and fault diagnosis drills at the 100 MWp Changshan Agrivoltaics Project, a benchmark facility designed by Zhejiang Changneng. Utilizing a decentralized generation and centralized grid-connection model, the Changshan project generates over 100 million kWh of clean electricity annually and mitigates more than 8,500 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year, serving as a highly valuable reference model for the visiting delegates.

Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

The program culminated in a graduation ceremony where Mr. Cao, Chairman of Zhejiang Changneng, presented certificates to the Zambian engineers. Chairman Cao commended the participants' dedication and expressed his hope that the acquired expertise would be instrumental in enhancing the operational efficiency of the Kabwe project. He further emphasized the company's commitment to expanding future technical exchanges and collaborative partnerships.

Commitment to Global Energy Transition

Guided by the principles of professionalism, innovation, and efficiency, Zhejiang Changneng remains dedicated to delivering premium engineering solutions. Moving forward, the company will continue to deepen technical and talent development collaborations with African partners, contributing Chinese engineering expertise to the global energy transition.
