Before the construction of this PV-ESS plant, the factory relied solely on diesel generators for power. After two years of low-load operation, the generators began experiencing issues, including carbon buildup, oil burning, and corrosive aging, leading to a significant decline in power generation efficiency. The factory operates for 10 hours daily, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with an average load of 500 kW and a peak power demand of 1,100 kW. The new PV-ESS plant will largely replace the diesel generators, utilizing solar power during the day and stored energy at night.
